Sign up today for the Hempfield Youth Field Hockey Camp! The event will be held June 15-17 from 8-10 a.m. at the Quad, and is open to students in grades K-6. Cost is $70.

Twin Rose Family Medicine, in collaboration with Highmark Wholecare and The Central PA Food Bank, is hosting a free Farmer's Market to provide fresh produce to all. No income guidelines or ID are required. Community agencies will also be on site with information tables.

Middle School Orientation Opportunities

Please review the three different opportunities available this August to help you get familiar with the school, find your classrooms, and prepare for a great start to the year!

1. Cruise the Halls (School Visits)

This is a casual opportunity to walk through the building and get your bearings at your own pace.

• Dates & Times:
  • August 6: 9:00 am – 10:00 am
  • August 10: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • August 12: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
• Important Rules: * Students must be accompanied by an adult to be admitted and must always stay with that adult.
• What to Bring: Please bring a copy of your schedule with you.

2. CMS Student Tour

A structured evening tour for families to get a breakdown of what to expect and practice daily routines.

• Date: August 18
• Time: 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
• Who Attends: Both parents and students are welcome.
• Schedule of Events:
  • Meet in the auditorium for a brief talk.
  • Locate classrooms (students are highly encouraged to bring their draft schedules).
  • Practice opening lockers. Locker combination and assignment can be found in PowerSchool.

3. Step Up Day (7th Grade Orientation)

A special, student-only orientation day designed to help students transition smoothly.

• Date: August 24
• Time: 7:10 am – 11:40 am
• Who Attends: Only 7th-grade students.
• Event Details:
  • Students should take the bus to school.
  • Students will rotate through various informational stations.
  • Lunch will be served!
