Girls Basketball Summer Camp Flyer

Girls entering grades 2nd-8th next school year are invited to the Girls Basketball Camp, presented by Hempfield Youth Basketball and HHS Girls Coach Hanusa. The camp runs June 8-10 in the Buchanan Gym from 9 am-noon. Cost is $100.

Pre K Counts Flyer

Enrollment night for Owl Hill Learning Academy’s Pre-K Counts program is Monday, March 23, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Landisville Intermediate Center. 

Owl Hill Learning Academy offers the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts program for Hempfield School District students who turn three years of age on or before September 1, qualify based on income and family size, and meet the program eligibility requirements. 

*Please bring a month’s worth of pay stubs or W-2 for all working adults in the household for proof of income.

The program runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., and will follow the HSD calendar. 

Materials and breakfast or lunch are provided at no cost to families. Transportation is the family's responsibility, as no busing is provided for this program.

SAVE THE DATE! East Petersburg Elementary One Book One School Celebration Evening is Wednesday, March 25th, from 6:00 - 7:30. Come out for a fun night of games, crafts, face-painting, breakout boxes, planting flowers, and more! NEW THIS YEAR: Families have the opportunity to buy prepaid meals for the cost of $2 each. The meal options include: 1) Cheese pizza, bag of chips, water, dessert, OR 2) Hot dog, bag of chips, water, dessert. Please use the following link to order and prepay for meals. Meals must be ordered by 3/23/26. No meals will be available for purchase on the night of the event.

Math Night Flyer

Elementary Families,

You’re invited to a Family Math Night, on March 30, 2026, at 6:30 pm at Landisville Intermediate Center, where parents and guardians are invited to attend sessions to learn more about the math strategies your students are learning within our district math curriculum, while students play math games under the supervision of teachers and high school students. ** Please note: this event will be held at LIC; however, it is open to all elementary school families across the district.

Please sign up for spring parent teacher conferences this week! Parents and guardians at all grade levels will have an opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher(s) to discuss academic progress. 

Conference times and dates:

  • Wednesday, March 11 (1:30-3:30 p.m.) - Elementary Conferences

  • Thursday, March 12 (1:30-3:30 p.m.) - Elementary Conferences 

  • Friday, March 13 (8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) - K-12 Conferences 

You should have received an email link from your child's teachers to schedule a time to meet with them. Make sure to click on the link for the specific teacher you are attempting to schedule with, as each link is unique to that teacher. If you have not received an email from a teacher you want to have a conference with, please reach out to them directly.
